    Abstract
    Das Problem der Wahrnehmung und Darstellung von Wahrheit durch die Medien führt zu vier zentralen Fragen: Wie viel Wahrheit gibt es in der Welt, über die Journalisten berichten müssen? Wie ermittelt oder recherchiert man diese Wahrheit? Wie trennt man die Spreu vom Weizen? Und wie geht man als Journalist mit dem um, was man als Wahrheit erkannt hat oder erkannt zu haben glaubt? Hier gibt es ganz offensichtlich eine Parallele zwischen Journalisten und Wissenschaftlern. Journalisten und Wissenschaftler brauchen erstens Hypothesen, zweitens geeignete Hypothesentests, drittens ein gutes Abgrenzungs-Kriterium und viertens Verfahren, um die erkannten Sachverhalte auf angemessene Weise für eine Kommunikation mit anderen zu repräsentieren, das heißt sie darzustellen. Es gibt zwei große Unterschiede zwischen Journalisten und Wissenschaftlern: Journalisten sind in der Regel auf raum-zeitlich begrenzte Aussagen aus, Wissenschaftler in der Regel auf raumzeitlich unbegrenzte Gesetze. Aber diese Unterschiede sind fließend, weil Wissenschaftler raum-zeitlich begrenzte Aussagen brauchen, um ihre All-Aussagen zu überprüfen, und Journalisten sich immer häufiger auf das Feld der allgemeinen Gesetzes-Aussagen wagen oder doch zumindest Kausalinterpretationen für soziale Phänomene anbieten. Der zweite Unterschied besteht darin, dass die Wissenschaft weitgehend professionalisiert ist (zumindest gilt dies uneingeschränkt für die Naturwissenschaften und die Medizin), was ihr relativ klare Abgrenzungs- und Güte-Kriterien beschert hat. Diese fehlen weitgehend im Journalismus.

    Abstract
    Eines der meistdiskutierten Themen bezüglich der Informationsgesellschaft ist das der Digitalen Kluft. Die Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (IKT) sind Grundbausteine einer jeden Informationsgesellschaft und bieten große Chancen für die soziale und ökonomische Entwicklung eines Landes. Im Vergleich zu den Teilstaaten des ehemaligen Jugoslawiens wird der aktuelle Stand der Informationsinfrastruktur in Bosnien-Herzegowina aufgezeigt. Auch wenn die IKT in den letzten Jahren eine dynamische Entwicklung erfahren haben, leidet das Land noch immer an den Folgen des Bürgerkrieges. Die komplizierten politischen Verhältnisse verzögern den Ausbau hin zu einer Informationsgesellschaft.

    Abstract
    Die mit dem Bologna-Prozess eingeleiteten Veränderungen haben erhebliche Auswirkungen auf die Weiterentwicklung der deutschen Hochschulen und Universitäten. Dies betrifft auch die Bereiche der Informationsinfrastruktur, für die sich neue Anforderungen und Herausforderungen aus dem Bologna-Prozess ergeben. Ökonomisierung und Technologisierung von Geschäfts- und Supportprozessen sind dabei wesentliche Antriebskräfte, die insbesondere die soziale Dimension akademischen Lebens und die damit verbundenen Werte zu verdrängen drohen: Auch in Zeiten von Bologna ist 'Universität, keine Web-Version! Deshalb sind Bibliotheken, Medien- und Rechenzentren sowie Verwaltungen gut beraten, auf der Plattform der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien und unter Einschluss betriebswirtschaftlicher Verfahren eine 'Vision von Qualität', zu entwickeln, wie sie in der Tradition des europäischen Universitätswesens liegt.

    Abstract
    Als dynamische und einfache Form der Auszeichnung von Ressourcen kann sich Tagging im E-Learning positiv auf Partizipation, soziale Navigation und das Verständnis der Lernenden auswirken. Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet verschiedene Möglichkeiten des Einsatzes von Social Tagging in Lehrportalen und E-LearningKursen. Hierzu werden zunächst drei konkrete Anwendungsfälle dargestellt. Anschließend werden aus den Anwendungsfällen gewonnene Erkenntnisse für Lehr-/Lernszenarien zusammengefasst.
