- Abstract
- Informationswissenschaft ist in verschiedenen Ausbaustufen seit mittlerweile 40 Jahren an der Universität Regensburg etabliert und bietet vom Bachelor-Studiengang bis zum Promotionsfach alle Qualifikationsstufen an. In den vergangenen Jahren konnte zusätzlich das Fach Medieninformatik als aus der Informationswissenschaft hervorgegangenes Nachbarfach etabliert werden. Eine Professur für Informationslinguistik bietet im Schnittfeld von Informationswissenschaft und (angewandter) Linguistik eine weitere Differenzierung in Forschung und Lehre. Der Beitrag erläutert das Selbstverständnis der beiden Fächer, stellt die Studienmöglichkeiten im Überblick vor und umreißt die derzeitigen Forschungsschwerpunkte.
