- Abstract
- Describes the union catalogue of braille and recorded books maintained by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) at the Library of Congress. The union catalogue contains 150.000 bibliographic records representing approximately 15.000.000 copies. These records come from many sources, including foreign libraries. The catalogue is available on microfiche, as a database on BRS, on CD-ROM and Internet versions have enabled patrons to use adaptive equipment to find materials on their own. The LoC welcomes further listings as long as they are held in a specific location and are available for loan, exchange, or purchase
