    Abstract
    Die Informationsgesellschaft wird derzeit in erster Linie unter den Aspekten von Arbeitsplätzen und Datenschutz diskutiert. Dabei gerät oft aus dem Blickfeld, daß dieser Umbruch auch eine radikal veränderte Arbeitswelt mit neuen Tätigkeitsfeldern und umgekrempelten Sozialbeziehungen zur Folge haben wird. Wir dokumentieren dazu Auszüge aus einem Vortrag des Marburger Wissenschaftlers Andreas Boes, den dieser beim Seminar 'Das Internet - Netz der Netze' der Evangelischen Akademie Bad Boll gehalten hat

Froogle Deutschland sucht im Netz mit Hilfe der gleichen Technologie wie Google nach Informationen über Produkt-Angebote. Die Treffer können nach dem Preis sortiert und mit Bild gezeigt werden. Google, der führende Internet-Suchmaschinenbetreiber, erwartet nach jüngsten Studien, dass dieses Jahr 23 Millionen Deutsche online einkaufen und dabei über 7,6 Milliarden Euro ausgeben werden.     Abstract
    In diesem Beitrag werden verschiedene Aspekte einer Begründung einer Informationsethik betrachtet. Zunächst wird eine sinnvolle Abgrenzung zu konkurrierenden Ethiken - Netz- und Medienethik - gesucht. Aus Sicht der Generierung, Distribution und Bewahrung von Information wird die Informationsethik als umfassender und allgemeiner als die anderen angesehen. Weiterhin wird die Option einer diskursethischen und damit absoluten Begründung der Informationsethik diskutiert und zugunsten einer pragmatistischen Sichtweise zurückgewiesen.
