Abstract

Es gibt inzwischen weit über 2.000 Suchmaschinen, Kataloge und Spezialverzeichnisse, und immer wieder kommen neue hinzu. Sie unterscheiden sich in Ausrichtung, Umfang der erfassten Seiten und Suchoptionen. Und je nachdem, was Sie finden möchten, ist mal die eine und mal die andere erfolgversprechend. Das Suchen im Internet scheint eine verzwickte Angelegenheit zu sein. Zahlreiche Bücher sind schon darüber geschrieben worden. Aber mit der richtigen Strategie ist es gar nicht so schwer, die sprichwörtliche Stecknadeln aus dem Heuhaufen herauszupicken. Außer den Suchmaschinen im Web gibt es auch solche, die als Programm auf dem PC installiert werden. Sie haben den Vorteil, dass die Suchergebnisse ständig verfügbar sind und auch offline ausgewertet werden können
