Abstract

TEX ist ein Satzsystem (kein Textverarbeitungssystem!), das die Möglichkeit gibt, schnell professionell gesetzte Texte mathematischer Formeln zu erzeugen. Gegenüber der 2. Auflage (BA 6/88) wesentlich überarbeitet. Berücksichtigt werden jetzt die Leistungserweiterungen der neuen Version 3.0, insbesondere bei der Eingabe deutscher Umlaute, bei Möglichkeiten zum Trennen und bei der Beeinflussung des Satzumbruchs. Gut verständliche, exakte Schreibweise, durchdachtes pädagogisches Konzept. Umfangreiche, nützliche Anhänge; weiterführendes Literaturverzeichnis.
