Technisches wird nur gestreift, wo es für die Nutzung der vielfältigen Möglichkeiten des Netzes unumgänglich ist. Natürlich werden die Hilfsmittel und -Programme wie FTP, Telnet und Usenet, Archie, Gopher und WWW eingehend beschrieben.
