- Abstract
- Die fortgesetzte Entwicklung des bibliographischen Datenmodells FRBROO steht auf der Agenda des Strategischen Plans der IFLA Cataloguing Section. Als Teil des CIDOC Conceptual Reference Models (CIDOC CRM; ISO 21127:2006, letzte Version: v.5.0.2.) können damit verschieden strukturierte Informationen aus dem Bereich des kulturellen Erbes integriert und ausgetauscht werden; durch FRBROO werden bibliographische Informationen eingebunden. Aufgrund sichtbarer Veränderungen in der Publikationspraxis sind die bisherigen Bibliothekskataloge mit ihrer bibliographischen Fixierung auf das Buch als zentrales zu erschließendes Element nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Eine umfassende Erschließung des kulturellen Erbes gemeinsam mit Museen und Archiven und deren "Objekten" und damit eine ontologisch fundierte Abbildung der in naher Zukunft komplett digital vorliegenden publikatorischen Vielfalt in kollaborativ gepflegten Katalogen wissenschaftlicher Bibliotheken gelingt nur, wenn zum einen der einzelne Text als "bibliographisches Objekt", was sowohl historische Quellen, fiktionale Werke als auch wissenschaftliche Aufsätze umfasst, formal und sachlich erschlossen wird und zum anderen das Ereignis als Ausgangspunkt der Erschließungsarbeit betrachtet wird. Zwei Folgerungen ergeben sich daraus: 1) Die semantischen Ebenen der Wissensrepräsentation nach Erwin Panofsky sollten um eine vierte Ebene erweitert werden, die als "acrossness" bezeichnet wird. 2) Die Aufgabe des wissenschaftlichen Bibliothekars sollte in einer intellektuellen Verwaltung der Neuerscheinungen, aber auch einer intellektuellen Durchdringung des eigenen Fachgebietes bestehen.

- Abstract
- Die inhaltliche und formale Erschließung der Primärwerke der Belletristik im Sach-Zettelkatalog der Deutschen Bücherei Leipzig (geführt von 1913 bis 1992) ist Gegenstand einer detaillierten Untersuchung. Dabei wird sowohl die Entstehung dieses Katalogs eingehend erläutert als auch die Erschließung durch formale und inhaltliche Merkmale umfassend analysiert. Darüber hinaus werden Sacherschließungssysteme und -methoden von 98 anderen wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken im Bereich Belletristik vorgestellt. Aus diesen Befunden wird einen Vorschlag für die Realisierung einer Literaturdatenbank primär unter Rückgriff auf die Erschließungsleistungen im Sachkatalog der Deutschen Bücherei mit Hilfe des FRBR- und des EntityRelationship-Modells vorgestellt.

- "Was ist Belletristik? Haben Homer, Vergil, Dante, Shakespeare und Goethe, um nur einige europäische Klassiker zu nennen, Belletristik verfaßt? Ebenso Klopstock, Lessing und Wieland, um weitere deutsche Autoren zu nennen, Herder und Schiller oder Hölderlin und Kleist? Auch George, Hofmannsthal und Rilke oder Heinrich Mann, Döblin und Feuchtwanger? Kann man sie als Belletristen bezeichnen? Nach den Auffassungen einiger einflußreicher Bibliothekare und Bibliographen anscheinend ja! Und was ist Belletristik heute, einige Jahrzehnte nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg? Sind Böll, Grass, Uwe Johnson, der 1984 gestorben ist, Siegfried Lenz und Martin Walser, um wiederum nur einige stellvertretend zu nennen, wirklich Verfasser von Belletristik? - Abstract
- Die ASB hat Zuwachs bekommen! Lange ging die Arbeitsgruppe 'ASB-Überarbeitung' mit der Idee schwanger, die Hauptgruppenfamilie zu vergrößern. Auf der 16. Sitzung erblickte nun 'Z' das Licht der (ASB-)Welt! Im folgenden weitere Informationen über die Zusammenkunft der Arbeitsgruppe, die vom 3. bis 5. Dezember '98 in der Stadtbücherei Stuttgart stattfand. Schwerpunkte der Sitzung waren die Hauptgruppen R,S,U und V. Darüber hinaus konnten die Gliederungsentwürfe für die Hautpgruppen G, M und Y endgültig abgeschlossen werden. Einige Entscheidungen aus vorangegangenen Beratungsrunden wurden modifiziert - ein Beleg für die Dynamik des Überarbeitungsprozesses und das ungebrochene Engagement aller Beteiligten! - Abstract
- Da das Interesse an den RSWK in den Öffentlichen Bibliotheken zunehmend größer wird, stellt sich die Frage nach der Anwendbarkeit der RSWK für die Erschließung der Schönen Literatur, Kinder- und Jugendliteratur. Das Regelwerk eröffnet im 3,2 prinzipiell diese Möglichkeit und biete auch bisher vier Formschlagwörter (Belletristische Darstellung, Anthologie, Bilderbuch und Kinderbuch) für die Erschließung dieser Literaturgruppen an. Die im folgenden vorgelegten Entwürfe sollen die Anwendung der RSWK für die Erschließung der genannten Literaturgruppen präzisieren und mit Beispielen veranschaulichen. Eine Erschließung Schöner Literatur und der erzählenden Kinder- und Jugendliteratur durch Genrebegriffe ist dabei nicht vorgesehen. Ein Entwurf für die Erschließung von Schul- und Berufsschulbüchern nach RSWK soll folgen. Die hier vorgelegten Entwürfe wurden von einer Arbeitsgruppe aus Vertretern Öffentlicher Bibliotheken, die bereits die RSWK anwenden, der Deutschen Bibliothek sowie von Kinder- und Jugendbibliotheken und -forschungseinrichtungen erarbeitet. - Abstract
- Die Aufstellung nach Interessenkreisen wurde in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren im Umfeld der Öffentlichen Bibliotheken viel diskutiert. Danach geriet das Thema aus dem Rampenlicht. Erst mit den sogenannten Themenbibliotheken und Themenwelten gewann es wieder an Bedeutung. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit wird dargestellt, wie eine kleine Öffentliche Bibliothek die Umstellung ihres Belletristikbereichs nach Interessenkreisen realisiert und dabei ihre Nutzer "ins Boot holt". Der aus dem Marketing stammende Ansatz der User Driven Innovation wird dabei in die Tat umgesetzt. Die Arbeit zeigt, wie sich eine Befragung der Nutzer über die Methode der Gruppendiskussion auf die Erarbeitung eines Sets an Interessenkreisen für die Belletristik niederschlägt und erläutert die konkrete Umsetzung des Vorhabens. Vorher wird die Aufstellung nach Interessenkreisen konzeptionell erarbeitet und die Methode der Gruppendiskussion im Kontext der Befragung von Nutzern in Bibliotheken erläutert.

- Abstract
- Die vorliegende Arbeit erläutert die Begriffe Belletristik und fiktionale Literatur und skizziert literaturwissenschaftliche Kategorisierungen fiktionaler Literatur sowie des Romans. Nach einem Kapitel, das historische Entwicklungen und Positionen der Literaturkritik erörtert, wird Heydebrands Modell zur Wertung literarischer Texte vorgestellt. Funktionen und Inhalte feuilletonistischer Literaturkritik sowie Analyseschritte zur Metakritik werden nach Anz referiert. Es folgt die Beschreibung von Arbeitsorganisation und Angebot des ID (Informationsdienst) der ekz (Einkaufszentrale für Bibliotheken). Funktionen der ID-Begutachtungen sowie die Arbeitsrichtlinien für Rezensenten Schöner Literatur werden dargelegt. Feuilleton-Rezensionen von Romanen Donna Leons, Henning Mankells, Michael Frayns und Ralf Rothmanns werden den entsprechenden Begutachtungen des ID gegenübergestellt. Daran schließt sich die Analyse von weiteren 80 ID-Rezensionen zur Belletristik aus den Jahren 2003-2005 an. Die Ergebnisse lassen sich folgendermaßen zusammenfassen: Feuilleton-Rezensionen bewerten in erster Linie die literarische Qualität der Romane. Die Unterhaltungsfunktion hat im Feuilleton Priorität, dann folgen Information, Beratung, Belehrung und Selbstdarstellung des Rezensenten. Die Begutachtungen des Informationsdienstes haben primär informierende Funktion für den Bestandsaufbau und sind nach den ID-Arbeitsrichtlinien für Rezensenten strukturiert. Inwieweit die 80 Rezensionen die einzelnen Aspekte der Arbeitsrichtlinien beachten, wird nach Genres differenziert untersucht und dargestellt. Insgesamt werden die analysierten ID-Rezensionen ihrer Informationsfunktion für Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare gerecht.
