    Abstract
    Social Search beschreibt die Einbeziehung des sozialen Kontexts in den Prozess der Informationssuche. Der folgende Beitrag zeigt die Entwicklung sozialer Suche auf und systematisiert den Bereich von Social Search Engines im WWW durch eine grundlegende Unterscheidung verschiedener Social-SearchKonzepte. Durch die Beschreibung typischer Merkmale bestehender Social-Search-Implementierungen werden diese überschau- und vergleichbar gemacht.

    Abstract
    Dieser Beitrag beschreibt das Verhältnis zwischen Informationswissenschaft und Digital Humanities und zeigt dabei viele Anlnüpfungspunkte und Parallelen zwischen den beiden Disziplinen auf. Weiterhin wird am Beispiel ausgewählter Forschungsthemen und -methoden der Informationswissenschaft aufgezeigt, wo das Fach Angebote an die Geisteswissenschaft machen kann, um innovative Digital Humanities-Projekte zu befördern.

    Abstract
    Dieser Beitrag skizziert die Kluft, die zwischen linguistischen Annotationswerkzeugen und etablierten Methoden des Usability Engineering besteht. Eine Evaluationsstudie dreier exemplarischer Annotationstools zeigt unterschiedliche Kategorien von Usability-Problemen auf, welche die Basis für eine Sammlung von 28 Design-Empfehlungen für benutzerfreundliche Annotationswerkzeuge bilden.
