- Dem umfassenden Normierungsanspruch für den Wortschatz der Schlagwortnormdatei (SWD) werden 4 Alternativen gegenübergestellt: Reduktion des Wortschatzes auf Begriffe im Sinne von DIN 2330; 2. Verzicht auf die SWD als Mittel der Benutzerführung; 3. Abschied von der Machbarkeit einer Konkordanzklassifikation; 4. Unterscheidbarkeit von Standardsprache in Absetzung zu Fachsprachen
