    "Die ZBW Deutsche Zentralbibliothek für Wirtschaftswissenschaften - Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft stellt ab sofort den Standard-Thesaurus Wirtschaft (STW) in der aktuellen Version 8.04 in Deutsch und Englisch online (http://zbw.eu/stw) bereit. Es ist möglich, nach Deskriptoren und Zugangsvokabular zu suchen oder im Systematikbaum zu blättern. Per direktem Link gelangt man von dort in die ZBW-Datenbank ECONIS (www.econis.eu). Der Thesaurus ist zur Nutzung im Semantic Web aufbereitet: Jeder Deskriptor ist mit einem persistenten Identifier versehen, für dessen langfristige Stabilität die ZBW garantiert. Die Thesaurus-Beziehungen sind als Daten (RDFa) in die Webseiten eingebettet. Über einen STW-Webservice (http://zbw.eu/beta/ stw-ws) können zum Beispiel Synonyme für eine Erweiterung von Suchen automatisiert abgefragt werden."

    Abstract
    Der Carelit® Thesaurus für das Gesundheitswesen von der Datenbank Lisk berücksichtigt im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Thesauri das umfangreiche Gebiet der direkten Pflege. durch die schnelle Verfügbarkeit von detaillierten Fachinformationen auf einer qualitativ hohen Ebene werden erstmalig die berufsspezifischen Erfordernisse der Pflegenden in höchstem Maße berücksichtigt. Der Thesaurus für das Gesundheitswesen enthält ein alphabetisches und ein systematisches Register. Im alphabetischen Teil sind alle Benennungen in Form von Feldeintragungen aufgeführt. Eine Feldeintragung besteht aus Bezeichnungen, die einen Sachverhalt beschreiben, mit den dazugehörigen Relationen. Der systematische Teil ist ein ergänzender Teil. Sämtliche über- und untergeordneten Vorzugsbenennungen eines Begriffes können mit Hilfe von Notationen im systematischen Teil schnell gefunden werden

    Abstract
    Die aktuelle Ausgabe 2022 der deutschen Ausgabe der Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) steht ab sofort zum Download in verschiedenen FAIRen Dateiformaten sowie als XML- und CSV-Datei unter der CC BY 4.0-Lizenz bereit. Zu den semantisch FAIRen Formaten, die ZB MED anbietet, zählen beispielsweise RDF/XML oder JSON-LD. Sie ermöglichen es etwa Software-Lösungen zur Datenanalyse - auch mit künstlicher Intelligenz -, die Daten direkt zu nutzen. Sie müssen nicht zusätzlich konvertiert und aufbereitet werden.

    "ZB MED bietet für die deutschsprachigen MeSH-Begriffe einen Internationalized Resource Identifier (IRI) an. Der IRI-Service stellt auf einer HTML-Seite alle Informationen für einen deutschen MeSH-Term bereit und ermöglicht so die Versionierung. Die Sichtbarkeit veralteter, aber in der Vergangenheit genutzter Terme ist im Sinne der FAIR-Prinzipien dadurch weiterhin gewährleistet. Für die Übersetzung der Medical Subject Headings nutzt ZB MED den eigens entwickelten TermCurator. Das semiautomatische Übersetzungstool bietet unter anderem einen integrierten mehrstufigen Kuratierungsprozess. Der MeSH-Thesaurus als polyhierarchisches, konzeptbasiertes Schlagwortregister für biomedizinische Fachbegriffe umfasst das Vokabular, welches in den NLM-Datenbanken, beispielsweise MEDLINE oder PubMed, erscheint. Darüber hinaus ist er eine der wichtigsten Quellen für ein kontrolliertes biomedizinisches Fachvokabular - beispielsweise für die Kategorisierung und Analyse von Literatur- und Datenquellen.
    Der MeSH ist ein polyhierarchisches, konzeptbasiertes Schlagwortregister für biomedizinische Fachbegriffe umfasst das Vokabular, welches in den NLM-Datenbanken, beispielsweise MEDLINE oder PubMed, erscheint. Er wird jährlich aktualisiert von der U. S. National Library of Medicine herausgegeben. Für die deutschsprachige Fassung übersetzt ZB MED dann die jeweils neu hinzugekommenen Terme und ergänzt sie um zusätzliche Synonyme. Erstmalig erstellte ZB MED den Deutschen MeSH im Jahr 2020. Vorher lag die Verantwortung beim Deutschen Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information (DIMDI/BfArM)."

    Ende 1996 hat die American Psychological Association, Produzent der Datenbank PsycINFO, ihren 'Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms' zum achten Mal aktualisiert. Die ZPID, die mit diesem Thesaurus ihre Records verschlagwortet, hat diese aktuelle Thesaurus-Version mit Genehmigung der APA in ihre Datenbanken eingebracht. Um Recherchen in ihren Datenbanken auch in deutscher Sprache zu ermöglichen, wurde das gesamte Vokabular ins Deutsche übersetzt
