    Abstract
    Der Erziehungs- und Bildungsauftrag der Schule umfaßt informationelle Bildung als eine der Schlüsselkompetenzen der Informationsgesellschaft. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Grundlagen für die aus dieser Aussage abgeleiteten notwendigen curricularen Ergänzungen und Neuerungen herausgearbeitet. Im Zentrum steht die Überführung des Erziehungsziels "informationelle Bildung" in eine operationalisierbare Zieltaxonomie, die in Basiswissen, das Technologie- und Medienkompetenz umfaßt, in Handlungswissen unter den Aspekten Information, Präsentation, Kommunikation, Transaktion und in Metakompetenzen aufgeschlüsselt wird. Die Herleitung der Ziele erfolgt aufgrund der als maßgeblich erachteten Strukturmerkmale, die sich aus der Konstellation der sich herausbildenden Informationsgesellschaft, der Telemediatisierung und der Institution Schule ableiten. Für die Realisierung im Unterricht wird die Modifikation der gegebenen schulpädagogischen Konzepte "informationstechnische Grundbildung" und "Medienerziehung" sowie der Ansatz der handlungsorientierten Pädagogik vorgeschlagen, an Einsatzmöglichkeiten im Unterricht konkretisiert und hinsichtlich der Sicherung der Rahmenbedingungen bezüglich inner- und außerschulischer Kooperation sowie personeller und technischer Ressourcen diskutiert.

    Abstract
    Es ist ein semantisches Netz für den Gegenstandsbereich Luftfahrt modelliert worden, welches Unternehmensinformationen, Organisationen, Fluglinien, Flughäfen, etc. enthält, Diese sind 10 Hauptkategorien zugeordnet worden, die untergliedert nach Facetten sind. Die Begriffe des Gegenstandsbereiches sind mit 23 unterschiedlichen Relationen verknüpft worden (Z. B.: 'hat Standort in', bietet an, 'ist Homebase von', etc). Der Schwerpunkt der Betrachtung liegt auf dem Unterschied zwischen den drei klassischen Standardrelationen und den zusätzlich eingerichteten Relationen, bezüglich ihrem Nutzen für ein effizientes Retrieval. Die angelegten Kategorien und Relationen sind sowohl für eine kognitive als auch für eine maschinelle Verarbeitung geeignet.
    Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, ein Modell für ein Informationssystems zu erstellen und die Voraussetzungen und Aspekte zu betrachten, die notwendig sind, um Einsichten in die begrifflichen Zusammenhänge des Gegenstandsbereiches Luftfahrt zu erlangen. Der Ansatz, der hier erläutert wird, plädiert für die Konstruktion einer begrifflichen Wissensstruktur in Form eines semantischen Netzes. Ausgangspunkt dieser Überlegungen ist die Auffassung, daß zwar das kontrollierte Vokabular eines Thesaurus mit seiner Verweisstruktur vielfältiges Wissen enthält, das aber aufgrund der drei klassischen Standardrelationen nur unzureichend repräsentiert und damit auch nur beschränkt zugänglich ist. Es wird erläutert, welche Vorteile eine Erweiterung der drei Thesaurusrelationen erbringen kann und in welcher Funktion die Relationen bei der Formulierung der Suchanfrage unterstützend sein können. Gezeigt wird, wie die Begriffstrukturen eines semantischen Netzes deutlicher hervortreten, wenn bei der Erstellung einer Wissensstruktur eines Gegenstandsbereiches Kategorien zugrunde gelegt werden und welche Gestaltungsprinzipien den Suchprozeß unterstützen können. Dazu werden die Voraussetzungen erörtert, die garantieren, daß komplexe Suchanfragen (erfolgreich) geleistet werden können und zu präzisen Treffermengen führen.

    Abstract
    Die Berliner Öffentlichen Bibliotheken haben sich im Jahr 2010 entschieden eine für alle Bezirke einheitliche Klassifikation einzuführen. Als Hauptbestandteil dieser sogenannten Verbundsystematik zählt die Systematik für Bibliotheken (SfB), die schwerpunktmäßig berücksichtigt wird. Gegenstand der hier vorgestellten Arbeit ist zum einen die Darstellung der Einführung der Verbundsystematik für die Öffentlichen Bibliotheken Berlins und zum anderen die Analyse und Auswertung der Organisation dieses Projektes am Beispiel des Bezirkes Berlin-Mitte. Ziel ist es zu erörtern, wie die Umsetzung im Bezirk gestaltet wurde und ob Verbesserungspotentiale festgestellt werden können. Anschließend werden Vorschläge zur Optimierung des Verfahrens dargestellt.

    Abstract
    Semantische Netze unterstützen den Suchvorgang im Information Retrieval. Sie bestehen aus relationierten Begriffen und helfen dem Nutzer, das richtige Vokabular zur Fragebildung zu finden. Eine leicht und intuitiv erfassbare Darstellung und eine interaktive Bedienungsmöglichkeit optimieren den Suchprozess mit der Begriffsstruktur. Als Interaktionsform bietet sich Hypertext mit seinem Point- und Klickverfahren an. Die Visualisierung erfolgt als Netzstruktur aus Punkten und Linien. Es werden die Anwendungsbeispiele Wissensnetz im Brockhaus multimedial, WordSurfer der Firma BiblioMondo, SpiderSearch der Firma BOND und Topic Maps Visualization in dandelon.com und im Portal Informationswissenschaft der Firma AGI - Information Management Consultants vorgestellt.

    Abstract
    Die Qualität der Auskünfte in einem Call-Center des Typus Informationshotline wird gewährleistet durch die zentrale Bereitstellung von Informationen zu Produkten und Dienstleistungen eines Unternehmens. Dies kann in Form von Datenbanken, wie die in dieser Arbeit analysierten Kundentelefon-Wissensdatenbank der Deutschen Post AG (KT-WEB), realisiert werden. Damit die Call-Center-Mitarbeiter präzise, schnell und zuverlässig auf die im Kundengespräch relevanten Informationen zugreifen können, müssen die Informationen inhaltlich entsprechend erschlossen sein. Für KT-WEB wird dazu ein Konzept zur Optimierung der inhaltlichen Erschließung und Suche entwickelt, das über die bisher eingesetzten Erschließungsmethoden, Systematik und Volltexterschließung, hinaus geht: eine Erschließung mit facettierten Schlagwörtern.

    Abstract
    In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Auswirkungen einer Unternehmenssprache auf den Informationstransfer in der internen Kommunikation internationaler Unternehmen untersucht. Eine Unternehmenssprache ist die von der Unternehmensleitung festgelegte, offizielle Sprache in der internen Kommunikation. Die Arbeit beginnt mit einer Analyse der Aufgaben und Ziele von Sprache, wonach im zweiten Teil das Unternehmen und die interne Kommunikation betrachtet werden. Auf dieser Grundlage werden die Auswirkungen der Unternehmenssprache auf die internen Netzwerke eines Unternehmens untersucht. Netzwerke bilden die Basis zum erfolgreichen Informationstransfer und entstehen durch Kommunikation. Im Unternehmen existieren formelle und informelle Netzwerke, die auf der Kommunikation zwischen Menschen direkt oder über Hilfsmittel sowie auf der Kommunikation zwischen Mensch und Maschine beruhen. Es stellt sich heraus, dass eine Unternehmenssprache positiv auf die Innenbindung der technischen Netzwerkstruktur wirkt. Dadurch ergeben sich Kosten- und Zeitvorteile. Innerhalb der zwischenmenschlichen Netzwerke bildet eine Unternehmenssprache die Basis für das Gelingen einer unternehmensweiten Zusammenarbeit. Synergieeffekte sind zu erwarten, welche die Leistung des Unternehmens steigern. In Bezug auf die Mitarbeiter, deren Muttersprache jedoch nicht die Unternehmenssprache ist, muss mit erheblichen Schwierigkeiten gerechnet werden. Es wird ein Bezug zwischen der Relevanz der beschriebenen Vor- und Nachteile und der Organisationsstruktur hergestellt und Empfehlungen für eine erfolgreiche Umsetzung des Konzepts 'Unternehmenssprache' gegeben.

    Abstract
    Moderne Verfahren des Information Retrieval verlangen nach aussagekräftigen und detailliert relationierten Dokumentationssprachen. Der selektive Transfer einzelner Modellierungsstrategien aus dem Bereich semantischer Technologien für die Gestaltung und Relationierung bestehender Dokumentationssprachen wird diskutiert. Am Beispiel des Gegenstandsbereichs "Theater" der Schlagwortnormdatei wird ein hierarchisch strukturiertes Relationeninventar definiert, welches sowohl hinreichend allgemeine als auch zahlreiche spezifische Relationstypen enthält, welche eine detaillierte und damit funktionale Relationierung des Vokabulars ermöglichen. Die Relationierung des Gegenstandsbereichs wird als Ontologie im OWL-Format modelliert. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Ansätzen und Überlegungen zur Schaffung von Relationeninventaren entwickelt der vorgestellte Vorschlag das Relationeninventar aus der Begriffsmenge eines vorgegebenen Gegenstandsbereichs heraus. Das entwickelte Inventar wird als eine hierarchisch strukturierte Taxonomie gestaltet, was einen Zugewinn an Übersichtlichkeit und Funktionalität bringt.

    Abstract
    LibraryThing.com ist eine Web 2.0 Anwendung, die sich der Community-Bildung verschrieben hat und dazu (Privat-)Bibliotheken ins Zentrum stellt. Die Nutzer erstellen dabei die Inhalte der Kataloge einerseits durch Import von Daten, andererseits durch eigenständige Eingabe. Dabei werden auch zu Autoren Seiten angelegt, die die Nutzer mit diversen Daten anreichern können. In dieser Arbeit werden diese Bestrebungen hinsichtlich der Autorenseiten dargestellt und mit der Personennamendatei der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek verglichen. Dabei wird aufgezeigt, welche Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten bestehen. Schließlich wird untersucht in welcher Form in LibraryThing Inhalte generiert werden und ob sie fachlichen Ansprüchen an Bibliothekskataloge genügen können.

    Abstract
    Für das Modifizieren von Suchanfragen kennt das Information Retrieval vielfältige Möglichkeiten. Nach einer einleitenden Darstellung der Wechselwirkung zwischen Informationsbedarf und Suchanfrage wird eine konzeptuelle und typologische Annäherung an Verfahren zur Anfragemodifikation gegeben. Im Anschluss an eine kurze Charakterisierung des Fakten- und des Information Retrieval, sowie des Vektorraum- und des probabilistischen Modells, werden intellektuelle, automatische und interaktive Modifikationsverfahren vorgestellt. Neben klassischen intellektuellen Verfahren, wie der Blockstrategie und der "Citation Pearl Growing"-Strategie, umfasst die Darstellung der automatischen und interaktiven Verfahren Modifikationsmöglichkeiten auf den Ebenen der Morphologie, der Syntax und der Semantik von Suchtermen. Darüber hinaus werden das Relevance Feedback, der Nutzen informetrischer Analysen und die Idee eines assoziativen Retrievals auf der Basis von Clustering- und terminologischen Techniken, sowie zitationsanalytischen Verfahren verfolgt. Ein Eindruck für die praktischen Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten der behandelten Verfahren soll abschließend durch fünf Anwendungsbeispiele vermittelt werden.

    Abstract
    Immer mehr Informationsobjekte werden in digitaler Form publiziert. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung auf bibliothekarische Erschließungsmethoden dargestellt: einerseits die Funktion der Auszeichnungssprachen SGML, HTML und XML als Erschließungsinstrumente, andererseits der von bibliothekarischer Seite entwickelte Metadatenstandard Dublin Core. Am Praxisbeispiel "Dokumentenmanagement einer Nichtregierungsorganisation" wird untersucht, ob die Erschließung verbessert werden könnte durch z.B. Optimierung der Volltextindizierung, standardisierte Metadaten oder Integration von Metadaten und Suchmaschinentechnologie. Mithilfe einer Benutzerbefragung werden diese Ansätze an der Praxis gemessen und konkrete Empfehlungen entwickelt.     Abstract
    Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit den praktischen Aspekten des Automatischen Klassifizierens bibliographischer Referenzdaten. Im Vordergrund steht die konkrete Vorgehensweise anhand des eigens zu diesem Zweck entwickelten Open Source-Programms COBRA "Classification Of Bibliographic Records, Automatic". Es werden die Rahmenbedingungen und Parameter f¨ur einen Einsatz im bibliothekarischen Umfeld geklärt. Schließlich erfolgt eine Auswertung von Klassifizierungsergebnissen am Beispiel sozialwissenschaftlicher Daten aus der Datenbank SOLIS.

    Abstract
    Eine einheitliche Sacherschließung in Deutschland wird durch die Vielzahl an vorhandenen und verwendeten Erschließungssystemen, Universal-, Fachklassifikationen und Fachthesauri erschwert. Den Benutzern von Bibliothekskatalogen oder Datenbanken fällt es daher schwer, themenspezifische Recherchen in heterogen erschlossenen Datenbeständen durchzuführen. In diesem Fall müssen die Nutzer derzeit nämlich den Umgang mit mehreren Erschließungsinstrumenten erlernen und verschiedene Suchanfragen anwenden, um das gewünschte Rechercheergebnis datenbankübergreifend zu erreichen. Um dem Benutzer einen einheitlichen Zugang zu heterogen erschlossenen Datenbeständen zu gewährleisten und gleichzeitig auch den Arbeitsaufwand für die Bibliothekare zu reduzieren, ist die Erstellung eines so genannten "Integrierten Retrievals" sinnvoll. Durch die Verknüpfung der unterschiedlichen Sacherschließungssysteme mit Hilfe von Konkordanzen wird es dem Nutzer ermöglicht, mit einem ihm vertrauten Vokabular eine sachliche Recherche in unterschiedlich erschlossenen Datenbeständen durchzuführen, ohne die spezifischen Besonderheiten der verschiedenen Erschließungsinstrumente kennen zu müssen. In dieser Arbeit sind exemplarisch drei Abbildungen für den Fachbereich der Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaften zwischen den für Deutschland wichtigsten Sacherschließungssystemen Dewey-Dezimalklassifikation (DDC), Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK) und Schlagwortnormdatei (SWD) erstellt worden. Die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeit sollen einen ersten Überblick über spezifische Problemfelder und Möglichkeiten der hier erstellten Konkordanzen DDC - RVK, SWD - DDC und SWD - RVK liefern, um damit die Erstellung eines zukünftigen Recherchetools (und gegebenenfalls einer Klassifizierungshilfe) voranzutreiben. Die erstellten Konkordanzen liegen der Arbeit als Anhang bei.

    Abstract
    Die Suchmaschinentechnologie der Internetsuchmaschinen wie Google und Yahoo haben die Erwartungen der Benutzer von Bibliotheks OPACs verändert. Relevance Ranking Sortierung bei der Ausgabe von Trefferlisten wird von den Benutzern vermehrt als normal angesehen. Bibliotheks-OPACs sind durch die Erwartungen der Benutzer im Zugzwang, sich den Erwartungen anzupassen. Bibliotheken, die damit begonnen haben Relevance Ranking in ihr System zu implementieren, verwenden dabei verschiedene Lösungsansätze. Sowohl die Darstellung als auch die Funktionalität ist ungleich und noch im Stadium der Erprobung und Entwicklung. Die Kataloganreicherung durch Inhaltsverzeichnisse und Abstracts geht tendenziell mit der effektiven Nutzung von bekannten Relevance Ranking Algorithmen in der Umgebung der Bibliotheks-OPACs einher. Um mit den Erwartungen der Benutzer, die sich durch die Nutzung der Internetsuchmaschinen ändern, müssen Bibliotheken sich der Aufgabe stellen, neue Funktionen in ihre OPACs zu implementieren ohne dabei die Hauptfunktionen des OPACs zu behindern.
