    Abstract
    Im Juni 2020 werden die Tn-Sätze in der Gemeinsamen Normdatei (GND) gelöscht. Die Tp-Sätze für eindeutig identifizierbare Personen bleiben im Bereich des Personenbestandes übrig. Dieser Beitrag soll eine Anreicherung und Bereinigung der Personennamensdatensätze mittels Wahrscheinlichkeiten auf der Datenbasis von GND und k10plus anregen. Zu jedem Tp-Satz kann ein Profil aus verknüpften Informationen erstellt werden: z. B. über Stichwörter, fachliche Schwerpunkte, Ko-Autoren, Zeiten und Orte usw. Im gleichen Maß können abgrenzbare Profile für Tn-Sätze per Algorithmus erkannt werden. Zusätzlich könnten bestehende Verknüpfungen von Personen- in Titeldatensätzen Fehlzuweisungen aufspüren. Die Folgen eines solchen Verfahrens wären eine retrospektive Anreichung des Altbestandes und eine präzisere Ausgestaltung des Katalogs.

    Abstract
    Spätestens mit Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts findet die inhaltliche Erschließung von Dokumenten praktisch ausschließlich in digitaler Form statt. Dies gilt sowohl für die fachliche Inhaltserschließung durch Bibliotheken und andere Dokumentationseinrichtungen als auch für die verschiedensten Formen inhaltlicher Beschreibung in Datenbanken - von Produktbeschreibungen im Internethandel bis zum Social Tagging. Selbst dort, wo analoge Ursprünge vorhanden sind, beispielsweise handschriftliche Notizen oder retrokonvertierte Findmittel, liegt die Sacherschließung am Ende in Form von Daten vor. Für die konkrete Ausprägung dieser Daten gibt es allerdings viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten. Der vorliegende Beitrag soll einen Überblick darüber geben, wie unterschiedliche Praktiken der Datenverarbeitung die Qualität von Inhaltserschließung beeinflussen und wie die Qualität von Erschließungsdaten beurteilt werden kann. Der Fokus liegt also nicht auf den Inhalten von Erschließungsdaten, sondern auf ihrer Form. Die Form von Daten ist keine rein technische Nebensächlichkeit, sondern durchaus relevant: So ist eine inhaltlich hervorragende Erschließung unbrauchbar, wenn die Erschließungsdaten aufgrund inkompatibler Datenformate nicht verwendet werden können. Zur qualitativen Einschätzung von Inhaltserschließung ist es daher notwendig, sich auch darüber im Klaren zu sein, wie und in welcher Form die Erschließungsdaten verarbeitet werden.

    Was mag das Akronym GND bedeuten? Lassen wir der Fantasie freien Lauf, kommen wir auf Auflösungen wie Golfer nehmen Datteln, Gerne noch Details, Glück nach Dauerstress, Größter Nutzen Deutschlands und vieles mehr. Eine ernsthaftere Recherche führt zur Gesamtnutzungsdauer oder auf einen Sachverhalt der Elektrotechnik: Die von einer Stromquelle bereitgestellte Spannung bezieht sich stets auf ein Grundniveau. Dieses Grundniveau wird auf Deutsch als Masse, im Englischen aber als ground oder GND bezeichnet. Techniker kennen das Schaltzeichen dafür: Für den informationswissenschaftlichen Bereich steht dagegen GND für die Gemeinsame Normdatei. Auch sie hat (seit 2020) ein Zeichen. Da die Gemeinsame Normdatei (im weiteren Text nur noch GND) auch ein Instrument der Inhaltserschließung ist, beeinflussen ihre Stärken und Schwächen die Qualität der Inhaltserschließung. Deshalb widmet sich dieser Artikel der Qualitätssicherung in der GND.

    Abstract
    Király (2019a) beschreibt eine neuartige Methodologie der systematischen Analyse der Bewertung der Qualität von MARC-21-Datensätzen. In seiner Forschungsarbeit untersucht er die Gesamtkataloge von 16 wichtigen Nationalund Forschungsbibliotheken. Die Ergebnisse beleuchten einige typische Probleme und liefern hilfreiche Messgrößen für das Verständnis von qualitätsentscheidenden Strukturmerkmalen eines Katalogs. In dieser weiterführenden Studie wollen wir eine tiefergehende Analyse einer kleineren Menge von Katalogen durchführen.

    FIfF legt als konstruktiven Diskussionsbeitrag eine datenschutzrechtliche Bewertung der geplanten Corona-Tracing-Systeme vor.
    Wie Umfragen ergeben, ist offenbar eine Mehrheit der Bundesbürger damit einverstanden, Corona-Tracing-Apps anzuwenden, auch wenn viele erhebliche Datenschutz- und Grundrechtsfragen für die Verhaltensüberwachung noch nicht geklärt und gesichert sind. Telepolis veröffentlicht die vom Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung (FIfF) erstellte Zusammenfassung der erarbeiteten Datenschutz-Folgenabschätzung (DSFA) für die Corona-App (Zusammenfassung und DSFA (https://www.fiff.de/dsfa-corona) mit der Creative-Commons-Lizenz: Namensnennung, CC BY 4.0). Sie zeigt, dass wegen weitreichender Folgen dringender Handlungsbedarf gegeben ist, gerade weil der Druck offenbar groß ist, mit solchen technischen Überwachungsmitteln die Notstandsmaßnahmen zu lockern.

    Abstract
    Der Beitrag blickt zurück auf den Online-Workshop "Geschlechtergerechte Sacherschließung", bei dem im Mai 2022 unterschiedliche Perspektiven der Geschlechtergerechtigkeit in der inhaltlichen Erschließung diskutiert wurden. Neben sprach- und bibliothekswissenschaftlichen Grundsatzfragen wurde die Gemeinsame Normdatei (GND) samt Regelwerken zur Gestaltung und Anwendung unter die geschlechtsspezifische Lupe genommen, ebenso wie feministische Fachvokabulare sowie Gender-Aspekte in der bibliothekarischen Aus- und Weiterbildung. Die Veranstaltung verstand sich als Auftakt, der Bericht beinhaltet einen Aufruf zu weiteren gemeinsamen Aktivitäten.
