    Abstract
    The Internet offers everyone the opportunity to improve the quality of their work by facilitating the sharing of practical experience and the tricks of the trade. It also offers the chance to participate in an interactive approach with the developers of computer products. Aims to prevent protracted and painful periods of experimentation by users of bibliographic software by indicating some directions to pursue in this field. Discusses these products, describes the diverse resources of the Internet (Gopher, discussion groups, WWW sites and FTP), and provides some practical advice
