- Abstract
- Zunehmend stößt man heute im Internet auf Recommendersysteme. Ein bekanntes Beispiel sind die Empfehlungen bei Amazon.de: "Kunden, die Bücher von ... gekauft haben, haben auch Bücher dieser Autoren gekauft: ...". Es bietet sich an, solche Systeme auch für Bibliotheken zu nutzen. Recommendersysteme unterstützen nicht nur die Nutzer bei der Literaturrecherche, sondern können auch helfen, den Bestandsaufbau und die Sacherschließung zu verbessern. Die Universitätsbibliothek Karlsruhe setzt bereits seit 2002 ein verhaltensbasiertes Recommendersystem ein. Es ist nahtlos in den neuen WebOPAC der UB (XOPAC) integriert. Der aktuelle Stand dieses Recommendersystems und weitere Entwicklungen wie z.B. ein "KVK-Recommender" werden aufgezeigt.
