    Abstract
    Ausgehend von der Notwendigkeit, das Wissen der Wissensorganisation in ihren Wissenseinheiten (Begriffen) zu erfassen, wird auf Vorgängerarbeiten (E.Wüster, F.Riggs) hingewiesen. Für die notwendigen Arbeiten wird der noematische Wissensbegriff herangezogen und es wird gezeigt, wie begriffsanalytisch (merkmalsbezogen und durch Merkmale auch systembildend) an eine mögliche Begriffsarbeit herangegangen werden sollte. Die sieben notwendigen Schritte hierzu werden erläutert.

    Abstract
    Sehr viele Informationen sind bereits im Web verfügbar oder können aus isolierten strukturierten Datenspeichern wie Informationssystemen und sozialen Netzwerken gewonnen werden. Datenintegration durch Nachbearbeitung oder durch Suchmechanismen (z. B. D2R) ist deshalb wichtig, um Informationen allgemein verwendbar zu machen. Semantische Technologien ermöglichen die Verwendung definierter Verbindungen (typisierter Links), durch die ihre Beziehungen zueinander festgehalten werden, was Vorteile für jede Anwendung bietet, die das in Daten enthaltene Wissen wieder verwenden kann. Um ­eine semantische Daten-Landkarte herzustellen, benötigen wir Wissen über die einzelnen Daten und ihre Beziehung zu anderen Daten. Dieser Beitrag stellt unsere Arbeit zur Benutzung von Lexical Linked Data (LLD) durch ein Meta-Modell vor, das alle Ressourcen enthält und zudem die Möglichkeit bietet sie unter unterschiedlichen Gesichtspunkten aufzufinden. Wir verbinden damit bestehende Arbeiten über Wissensgebiete (basierend auf der Information Coding Classification) mit der Multilingual Lexical Linked Data Cloud (basierend auf der RDF/OWL-Repräsentation von EuroWordNet und den ähnlichen integrierten lexikalischen Ressourcen MultiWordNet, MEMODATA und die Hamburg Metapher DB).

    Abstract
    Nach einer einleitenden Diskussion der Benennungen Dokumentenkunde und Dokumentologie wird der diesbezügliche Objektbereich der Informationswissenschaft begründet. Es wird dazu eine Systematik vorgestellt, die von 1968 bis 1970 vom UDC-Revisions-Komitee 03/04 mit etwa 2000 Begriffen und Codes auf 37 Seiten erarbeitet und von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Dokumentation nur in wenigen Kopien gedruckt und bislang noch nicht allgemein publik gemacht wurde. Das System wurde auch vom FID Central Classification Committee weder verabschiedet noch publiziert. Die Tabellen werden aus Platzgründen kumuliert wiedergegeben. Abschließend wird ein Vorschlag für eine neue Gliederung unterbreitet und die Verwendung der Systematik im Zusammenhang mit der Information Coding Classification erörtert.

    Abstract
    In 2009 wurde die ISKO 20 Jahre alt, ein Zeitmoment für eine kurze Rückschau auf bisher Erreichtes und zur Ventilierung möglicher zukünftiger Erkenntnisse und Aktivitäten. Als wesentlich erschienen dabei - neben einigen am Schluß genannten Vorschläge - die folgenden zehn Desiderate. Ausgehend von der Notwendigkeit, den fundamentalen Unterschied zwischen dem Begriff (als die Wissenseinheit), mithin der begrifflichen Ebene, gegenüber dem Wort, dem Term oder dem Code), also der Ausdrucksebene in der Ordnung des Wissens zu erkennen und entsprechend theoretisch und praktisch zu vollziehen (Desiderat 1), werden eine Reihe von nützlichen Anregungen vorgebracht. Als Desiderat 2 somit die norwendigen Übersichten über vorhandene und benutzte Klassifikationssysteme, Thesauri und sonstige Mittel der Ordnung zur Erschließung des Wissens, 3. eine verbesserte Situation der Ausbildung zum Experten der Wissensorganisation (WO), auch Lehrpläne und Berufsbild betreffend, 4. der bisher noch nicht bedachte Ausbau von nationalen Sekretariaten und dem internationalen Sekretariat, 5. Erstellung einer systematischen Ordnung der WO-relevanten Begriffe als Modellsystem für andere Sachgebiete, 6. die Einrichtung von Instituten der WO, 7. Verfügbarkeit des ISKO-eigenen Expertenwissens für alle Anfragenden, 8. ISKO's globale Verbreitung, also Mitgliedschaften und Sektionen in allen Ländern der Welt, 9. Erweiterung der Publikationstätigkeit in der ISKO und 10. Entwicklung der WO als eigenständige Disziplin im Bereich der Wissenschaftswissenschaft.

    Abstract
    Der Beitrag umfasst eine Einführung in das Verständnis der Information Coding Classification (ICC), einer Universalklassifikation von Wissensgebieten. Er enthält (1) Entstehungsgeschichte (1970 bis 1977), (2) ihre Prinzipien: Begriffe, Begriffsbeziehungen, Notation, Hauptklassen als Objektbereiche in Integrationsstufen, Systemstellenplan als Systematifikator mit neun Aspekten zur Untergliederung, Verbindungsmöglichkeiten mit anderen Systemen, Systemstellen zur Darstellung von Inter- und Transdisziplinarität. Verwendungsmöglichkeiten. (3) Erläuterung ihres Inhalts und kurze Erörterung der Probleme bei der Konzeption und Erarbeitung.

    Abstract
    Anlaß für dieses kleine Werk war einerseits meine Feststellung bei der letzten internationalen Konferenz der Gesellschaft für Wissensorganisation in Krakau, 19.-23.5.2014, dass sehr viele junge Teilnehmer sich offen-bar nicht klar waren, was eigentlich unter "Wissensorganisation" zu verstehen ist. Andererseits hatte ich gerade das Handbook on Metadata, Semantics and Ontologies von M.-A. Sicilia durchgeackert und dabei feststellen müssen, dass bei den Informatiker-Kollegen doch vielfach das Wissen fehlt, das immerhin schon seit Jahrhunderten in den Geisteswissenschaften auf dem Gebiet der Klassifikation entwickelt wurde. Sie haben wohl erkannt, dass ihre Daten auch Inhalte haben, und benutzen gern die Klassifikationssysteme und Thesauri, die von Informationswissenschaftlern erstellt wurden, doch fehlen ihnen deren Grundlagen.
