1Oluic-Vukovic, V.: From information to knowledge : some reflections on the origin of the current shifting towards knowledge processing and further perspective.
In: Journal of the American Society for Information Science and technology. 52(2001) no.1, S.54-61.
Abstract: Information technology is also an important aspect of the discussion of Oluic-Vukovic, who attempts to shift the discussion to knowledge processing on the technical side and user demands on the other. Uncertainty about who we are and what we do persists. Oluic-Vukovic observes that while the Web has transformed information, our approach to searching large collections of records has remained relatively unchanged.

2Oluic-Vukovic, V.: Simon's generating mechanism : consequences and their correspondence to empirical facts.
In: Journal of the American Society for Information Science. 49(1998) no.10, S.867-880.
Abstract: By considering hypothetically the Bradford distribution, as a dynamic system developing in time on principl formally equivalent to that proposed by Siman, it was shown that though the Simon generating mechanism gives rise to certain qualitative features ascribes to data, the resulting distribution function, derived as a steady-state solution of the proposed stochastic process, is too restricted to cope with the variation produced in time. The empirical evidence, combined with the results of goodness-of-fit test, strongly support this fact, showing explicitly that the changes in the shape of the distribution that appear in the course of time, particularly the changes in the low producing tail, reduce excessively the scope of the model marking the limits of its applicability

3Oluic-Vukovic, V.: Bradford's distribution : from the classical bibliometric 'law' to the more general stochastic models.
In: Journal of the American Society for Information Science. 48(1997) no.9, S.833-842.
Abstract: Outlines some of the important tendencies that helped the shift from the conceptual framework within which the Bradford distribution has been usually considered i.e. to bring it to a par with some well-known distributions and laws within and outside bibliometrics. Focuses on those oriented toward more fundamental problems such as the implementation of general models that can explain the process by which the Bradford and the related distributions are generated. Shifting of the focus and scope to these issues represents a strong current tendency, though some of the basic assumptions regarding this had been advanced about 50 years ago. Discusses the reasons for their slow implementation in the research concepts
