  Abstract: Dialog have lauched DialogClassic. Called a Web portal it offers information professionals a high speed alternative for users who access command-based databases via telnet or third party communications software. The streamlined non graphical interface enables faster page loading and display and printing of large quantities of records using the browser's local cache settings and system resources. Version 2.0 of DialogWeb will be lauched by the end of 1998. Aimed at information professionals who want command language, but who also want to an easy to use Web interface for end users, it will include an improved subject classification scheme and guided search mode
