5Frantao, S.: L'utilization de CDS/ISIS dans les reseaux d'informations : les perspectives pour l'Afrique.
In: Quarterly bulletin of the International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists. 39(1994) nos.1/2, S.85-87.
Abstract: Paper presented at the IAALD Ind. Symp. on new Information Technologies in Agriculture, Bonn, 10.-12.11.1993. The CDS/ISIS software is used in many African countries and CDS/ISIS technology is used by RESADOC, Mali, to assist in information dissemination to the countries in the Sahel zone. Files in ISO 2709 format are taken from the regional database and loaded by each national RESADOC centre which can thus make information about the Sahel zone available to national users. CDS/ISIS is also helpful to ease information dissemination and regional integration
