Abstract

2nd part of an examination of the poor state of reference materials in libraries. Looks at ways that electronic information services, which provide access to information rather than ownership, can ease some of the problems of lack of reference resources. Careful cooperative planning is needed to make the best of theses resources. Libraries could also establish reference pools of printed publications in order to provide maximum reference information access
