"Der neue Brockhaus multimedial 2002 bietet mit 110.000 Artikel und 190.000 Stichwörtersowohl in der Standard- als auch in der Premium-Version eine der umfassendsten Wissensplattformen im deutschen Sprachraum. Beide Ausgaben sind entweder als CD-ROM-Paket mit vier bzw. sechs CDs erhältlich oder als handliche DVD-Edition mit nur einer einzigen Scheibe. Der neue Weltatlas in beiden Versionen ist frei zoombar und bietet drei Perspektiven an: eine Satelliten-, eine topographische und eine politische Ansicht. Als Extra in die Premium-Version integriert ist das "Brockhaus-Konversationslexikon" von 1906. Anwender haben hier Zugriff auf Text- und Bildbeiträge, die heute in keinem Lexikon mehr zu finden sind. Über 2,2 Millionen Wörter in 82.000 Artikeln und zahlreiches Kartenmaterial veranschaulichen geschichtliche Entwicklungen und Sichtweisen."
