Abstract

In den letzten Jahren wurde viel über "Kernkompetenzen" und "Schlüsselqualifikationen" in der modernen Informations- und Wissensgesellschaft diskutiert und publiziert. Fähigkeiten aus den Bereichen Sozial- und Methodenkompetenz sind zunehmend als Erfolgsfaktoren im gegenwärtigen und zukünftigen Erwerbsleben in unser Bewusstsein gerückt. Wie einige Beiträge der vorliegenden Publikation zeigen, gilt dies in hohem Maße auch für die Informations- und Wissensarbeit im Semantic Web. So zahlreich und unterschiedlich die Zugänge zu Informationskompetenz und Wissensarbeit in verschiedenen Kontexten sein mögen, so selten wird auf Grundlegendes wie Mehrsprachigkeit, kulturelle Vielfalt, Projekt-, Zeit- und interkulturelles Management in der vernetzten Wissensgesellschaft näher eingegangen. Da wir gerade diese Bereiche und die dafür erforderlichen Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten für Erfolgsfaktoren im und für das Semantic Web halten, wird sich der vorliegende Artikel vor allem mit diesen Faktoren auseinandersetzen.
