Abstract
Die Tageszeitungen sind eine wichtige Quelle für die Informationsrezeption. Insbesondere Hintergrundinformationen zur aktuellen Politik und zur ökonomischen Entwicklung der Gesellschaft finden sich hauptsächlich in der Presse. Untersucht wird anhand der Reichweitendaten der Media-Analyse (MA), wie sich die Informationschancen in unterschiedlichen sozialen Gruppen in der Zeit von 1984 bis 2006 entwickelt haben.
