Abstract
Natural language systems rank documents in a database according to predicted relevance for a specific query, examining a whole range of factors. They solve some of the problems associated with Boolean searching. Looks at the reactions of professional searchers to these systems. Offers tips how to search with natural language search engines and makes predictions about future developments. Describes some of the new packages that have brought the techniques to the market
