Abstract

Überblick über die Situation der Sacherschließung der Deutschen Bibliothek im Jahre 1980, über die Dienstleistungen im Bereich der Sacherschließung, Erläuterungen zur Systematischen Übersicht der Schlagwörter und der Länderschlüsselpraxis der Deutschen Bibliothek sowie den neuen "Arbeitshilfen": Schlagwortverweisungs-Pool und Schlagwort-Pool. Kurze Skizzierung der Aufgabenstellung für die nächsten Jahre bzgl. eines einheitlichen Regelwerks für die Schlagwortvergabe, möglichst aufgrund eines einheitlichen Thesaurus für Bibliotheken und bzgl. Angleichung an die internationalen Gepflogenheiten der Benutzung eines internationalen Klassifikationssystems, was für die Deutsche Bibliothek die UDC sein wird
