Abstract

TACT is a text retrieval program which allows the user to work with a text in order to discover the location of lixical units an internal patterns. In literary analysis it permits investigation of the text's stylistic, grammatical and lexical features, as well as acting as a computerized concordance. Describes how it has been integrated into the teaching of Italian literature at Edinburgh University, Scotland
