Abstract
Am Beispiel der Zentralbibliothek der Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH wird der Paradigmenwechsel bibliographischer Alltagsroutine zwischen 1978 und 1998 vorgestellt. Vor dem Hintergrund der veränderten Informationstechnologie der letzten 20 Jahre werden einerseits die eingesetzten Nachweisinstrumente und deren Evolution beschrieben, andererseits die Veränderungen der konkreten Arbeitsprozesse beim Bibliographieren illustriert. Dabei wird ein Spektrum abgedeckt, das von gedruckten Bibliographien und Referateblättern über Mikrofiche und Magnetbänder, Online- und CD-ROM-Datenbanken bis zum "WeltWideWeb" reicht. Wir zeigen, daß der bibliographische Arbeitsprozeß neu definiert werden muß, in seiner Grundfunktion aber nicht obsolet geworden ist
