Abstract

Von Hochschulen und außeruniversitären Forschungseinrichtungen wird zunehmend verlangt, daß sie sich zu Dienstleistungsunternehmen wandeln, kundenfreundlicher werden und dabei sich noch modern präsentieren, um im internationalen Wettbewerb bestehen zu können. Modern heißt in diesem Zusammenhang online, multimedial und seit kurzem auch konkret im Internet, beziehungsweise im World Wide Web des Internet. Wie sind Universitäten und außeruniversitäre Forschungseinrichtungen auf diese Herausforderungen vorbereitet? Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt eine im 1999 durchgeführte intemetbasierte Nutzerbefragung über Wissenschaftsangebote im Netz
