Abstract
Die Bibliotheken der drei deutschen universitätsunabhängigen kunsthistorischen Forschungsinstitute Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in München und Bibliotheca Hertziana (Max-Planck-Institut), Rom, katalogisieren seit 1997 online als eigenständiger, dezentraler EDV-Verbund aus drei Parallelumgebungen unter dem Programmsystem Allegro. Der im Internet unter <http://Www.kubikat.org> zugängliche Verbundkatalog verzeichnete Ende März 2001 knapp 150.000 Titel von Büchern, Zeitschriften und Aufsätzen und wächst infolge laufender Arbeiten zur Konversion der zugunsten des EDV-Verbundes abgebrochenen Zettelkataloge kurzfristig sprunghaft stark an
