Abstract

Wissensbedarf stellt sich in alltäglichen Handlungen oft unvorhergesehen ein: bei einem Sportunfall, einem Geschäftsessen, einer Demonstration oder einem abendlichen Stadtbummel. Es ist die besondere Stärke von tragbaren, drahtlos angebundenen Kommunikationsgeräten wie Handys, Handhelds oder auch Notebooks, die jeweils benötigten Informationen den Beteiligten orts- und zeitunabhängig unmittelbar zugänglich zu machen. Dabei hat mobile Wissenskommunikation spezifische technische und ökonomische Voraussetzungen und konkretisiert sich schon heute in zahlreichen Anwendungen.
