Abstract

Bei KMU ist die Implementierung von Wissensmanagement anders gelagert als in Großunternehmen. Auch wenn durch kürzere Wege die Entscheidung für ein Wissensmanagementsystem einfacher ist, so stehen dem Unternehmen wesentlich weniger Ressourcen zur Verfügung. Sowohl personell wie auch finanziell sind Grenzen gesetzt. Auf Grund dessen sollte man in KMU nur einzelne Bausteine umsetzen und nicht gleich ein umfassendes Wissensmanagementsystem einführen. Wir führen vor, mit welchen Tools diese Prozesse unterstützt werden können und welche Bausteine für kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen sinnvoll sind. Im Fokus dieses Teilartikels stehen zum einen die Wissensmanagementprozesse in KMU, aber auch zum anderen Informationsbedarfsanalysen, die für eine sinnvolle Einführung von Wissensmanagement notwendig sind. Vor allem in kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen können diese richtungweisend für die Implementierung einzelner Bausteine sein. Informationsbedarfsanalysen lassen sich in Abteilungen gezielt einsetzen, um Anhaltspunkte zu erlangen, wo die Kommunikation intern, wie aber auch extern krankt. Daraufhin arbeitet man gezielt an einer Optimierung. Wir erläutern detailliert, welche Methoden es zur Durchführung einer solchen Informationsbedarfsanalyse gibt und welche besonders sinnvoll in KMU anzuwenden sind.
