Abstract
Unternehmen werden ihre Entscheidung über die barrierefreie Ausoder Umgestaltung ihrer Web Site nur dann fundiert treffen können, wenn sie die durch die Barrierefreiheit erzielbare Rendite kennen bzw. quantifizieren können. In diesem einführenden Beitrag werden deshalb Handlungsempfehlungen und Instrumente zur betriebswirtschaftlichrationalen Nutzenbewertung der Barrierefreiheit von Web-Präsenzen aufgezeigt, wobei alle drei technischen Web-Site-Segmente Internet (eCommerce), Intranet (eWorkflow) und Extranet (eIntegration) berücksichtigt werden. Die Ausführungen umfassen zudem die monetäre Wirtschaftlichkeit (Leistungen/Kosten) und die nicht-monetäre Wirtschaftlichkeit (Nutzen/Opfer) der Barrierefreiheit von Web-Präsenzen.
