Alte, mit der technologischen Entwicklung überforderte Entscheider gefährden unsere digitale Zukunft. Zeit für einen Aufschrei - und für eine neue Elite. Ab in die Zukunft! Die volle Vernetzung ist Gegenwart. Jetzt braucht es Entscheider, die das begreifen.

"Warum ist Deutschland in Sachen Mobilfunknetz und Breitbandausbau eher Dritte Welt als top? Warum wird das Handy der Kanzlerin abgehört und keiner merkt's? Warum kann ein junger Hacker den Bundestag und dessen sogenannte Sicherheitsvorkehrungen der Lächerlichkeit preisgeben? Warum wird erst über Uploadfilter geredet, wenn sie beschlossen sind? Warum sind die Debatten über all das häufig von Unwissenheit geprägt? Weil eine alte Führungselite den technologischen Wandel verschlafen hat und unbeirrt weiterwursteln darf. Wenn derzeit die "Alten weißen Männer" heftig im Wind stehen, dann liegt der Fokus der Wahrnehmung von Kampagnen wie #metoo ("Ich auch") oder "black lifes matter" ("schwarze Leben zählen auch") oft auf "Mann" und "weiß". Wie wär's, mal das Thema "alt" mit einem knackigen Schlagwort zu besetzen? Und zwar als Protest gegen alte, ahnungslose Entscheider, die unsere digitale Zukunft verspielen. Nicht falsch verstehen! Es geht auch ums Alter im Kopf, nicht nur um die Anzahl an Lebensjahren. Und dass Politik der Entwicklung stets hinterher rennt, ist ihr nicht vorzuwerfen, es liegt in der Natur der Sache. Wie hierzulande aber der Anschluss an den digitalen Fortschritt verpasst wurde und wird, ist eklatant. Mal ehrlich: Wer hat das Vertrauen, dass unsere Bundesregierung, unsere Landesregierungen, die alten Innen- und Internetminister die digitalisierte Welt begreifen oder gar im Griff haben? Dass sie und wir gerüstet sind, wenn unsere, nennen wir's freundlich Infrastruktur, torpediert wird? Die volle Vernetzung ist Gegenwart. Die Medien müssen sich neu erfinden. Der Handel ist global. Schrittmacher ist das Bit.Und wir reden über Funklöcher! Ein absurdes Problern. weil es sie gar nicht mehr geben dürfte - und weil der Begriffnahelegt, es gehe heute noch ums Telefonieren. Datenaustausch, darum geht's, mindestens. Sofort und nur noch junge an die Macht (Hand hoch, wer in der aktuellen Riege einen echten entdeckt!), allerwenigstens an den Schaltstelien der Infrastruktur- und der Digitalpolitik. Das wäre ein erster Schritt. Das 20. Jahrhundert, ihr alten Verpeiler, ist nämlich schon satte 20 Jahre her."
