Abstract
Im Vortrag wurden zunächst Entwicklungstendenzen im Bereich der Informationskompetenz, wie sie in der Literatur diskutiert werden, thematisiert. Dabei wurden insbesondere die folgenden Aspekte angeführt: die zunehmende Breite des Konzepts "Informationskompetenz" - dessen Überlappung mit anderen Kompetenzen sowie zentrale Problemfelder wie zunehmend komplexer werdende Informationsmärkte, Herausforderung der Informationsbewertung sowie der Bestätigungsfehler. Nachfolgend wurden der Kontext und das Design der Studie vorgestellt. Im Rahmen des "Calls für Positionspapiere" wurden Experte*innen dazu aufgerufen nachfolgende Fragen zu beantworten: - Was ist Informationskompetenz? - Wie soll man Informationskompetenz vermitteln? - Welches sind die zentralen Entwicklungen im Bereich der Informationskompetenz und Informationskompetenzvermittlung? - Welche weiteren Aspekte des Themas sind relevant?
