Abstract

Discusses the computerized production of catalogues of cartographic materials, particularly the relationships between records for materials which may be bibliographically distinct but which are intended to form a single group. Discusses the problems of cataloguing a particular atlas where it is desired to describe the parts as well as the whole. Notes the value of the copying facilities of automated systems to simplify multi-part description
