Abstract

Illustrates the difficulty of instructing CD-ROM end users at a new university library, caused by the different levels of knowledge of the users, based on the experience of the library of University Carlos 2 de Madrid. Concludes that easy menu search interfaces, training of end users to be self searchers, and training librarians the trainers of end users, are the objectives of the CD-ROM end user training department in a brand new university library
