    Abstract
    Reports on an evaluation study carried out at Cornell Univ., Albert R Mann Library, of the coaching component of its end user online searching training programme, in which staff offer assistance to students who had received brief training in online searching on BRS menus system. Interaction between 19 students volunteers and library staff were analyzed using tape recordings, a questionnaire and postsearch interviews. Discusses the implications of its results
