    Abstract
    Systematisches Wissensmanagement wird in kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen aufgrund fehlender personeller Ressourcen kaum realisiert. Dabei wird aber die Fähigkeit, die Ressource »Wissen« zu verwalten und in innovative Produkte und Dienstleistungen umzusetzen, immer mehr zum kritischen Erfolgsfaktor für mittelständische Unternehmen. Erfolgreiche Wissensmanagementlösungen von Großunternehmen lassen sich aufgrund des Aufwandes (finanzieller, technischer und organisatorischer Art) nicht ohne weiteres auf den Mittelstand übertragen, sondern praktikable Lösungen, die auf die konkreten, teilweise sehr spezifischen Bedürfnisse dieser Zielgruppe eingehen und vom Umsetzungsaufwand praktikabel sind, werden gesucht. Der vorgeschlagene Beitrag schildert die Durchführung eines WM-Projektes in einem Unternehmen mit weniger als 100 Mitarbeitern auf Basis einer Filemaker-Anwendung. Neben der Vorstellung dieses Tools und seiner Vorteile für kleinere Unternehmen werden die begleitenden Maßnahmen - organisatorischer und psychologischer Art - dargestellt, die erst die erfolgreiche Umsetzung von WM ermöglichen. WM wird als ganzheitliches Konzept gesehen, indem die IT nur einen von mehreren Erfolgsfaktoren darstellt. Die Anpassung betrieblicher Organisationsstrukturen sowie der Veränderungsprozess der Mitarbeiter muss systematisch gesteuert und aufgebaut werden. Die Erfahrungen mit speziell entwickelten Schulungen, die den Veränderungsprozess der Mitarbeiter unterstützen sollen, werden vorgestellt. Erst die konsequente und gleichwertige Einbindung von IT-Mitarbeitern und -Organisationsstrukturen oder auch abstrakter formuliert die Verbindung Technik-Mensch-Organisation garantiert Erfolg und messbare Ergebnisse von WM-Projekten.
