    Abstract
    Im Grunde ist das Internet ja nichts anderes als ein Abziehbildchen der wirklichen Welt. Eigentlich könnte man mittlerweile doch im Netz leben. Dort gibt es alles, was man sonst so braucht: die Seite des Bäckers von nebenan, den Sportverein, die Lieblingsband, das Möbelgeschäft. Und plaudern und sich kennen lernen - das geht alles im Cyberlebensmodell. Weil auch das digitale Leben gelernt sein will, jedoch eben nicht immer einfach ist, gibt es einen WWW-Trödelladen. Unter www.sedade werden Internetpleiten verramscht. Sedo.de, der Dotcom-KrisenGewinnler, führt in seiner Datenbank nach eigenen Angaben über 1,6 Millionen Web-Adressen, gestaltete Seiten und Internetfirmen, die zum Verkauf anstehen. Hat man im echten Leben noch gebrauchte Autos oder Kühlschränke in der Zeitung gesucht, kann man als Internetbürger sich mittlerweile schnurstracks eine gebrauchte Website zulegen. Davon hat man doch bereits lange geträumt. Ich wollte schon immer den Domänennamen www frauensport.de besitzen. Bislang schlummerten da monatelang die selben Informationen, Links und Buchtipps über alle Formen der weiblichen Leibesübung vor sich hin. Nun wurden die Webmasterinnen offensichtlich ganz von allen guten Sportsgeistern verlassen und wollen die Domäne samt Inhalt loswerden. Natürlich nicht umsonst. Mindestens 100 Euro müsste man springen lassen, um Inhaberin der Top-Frauensportadresse im Netz zu werden. Komplettes Design inklusive. Und zudem 40 weitere Adressen, die direkt auf www frauensport.de umleiten. Beispielsweise www. frauen-turnen.de, www. frauenaerobic.de, www frauenbodybuilding.de, www.frauenwasserde - Frauenwasser? Ah ja. Ein ganzes virtuelles Frauensportimperium steht also zum Verkauf. Was ist da wohl schief gelaufen? Ist den Damen die Kondition ausgegangen? Oder sind da vielleicht Domänen-Dealer am Werk, die sich ihren Einfallsreichtum im Reservieren von Internetadressen teuer bezahlen lassen wollen? Wie gesagt: Die Web-Welt ist auch nicht besser als die da draußen.

Daneben gibt es aber bereits eine Fülle von strukturierten Informationsangeboten, aufbereiteten Listen und Sammelstellen, die als Clearinghouse, Subject Gateway, Subject Tree oder Resource Pages bezeichnet werden. Solche intellektuell erstellten Übersichten geben in der Regel bereits Hinweise zu Inhalt und fachlichem Niveau der Quelle. Da die Art und Weise der Aufbereitung bei den Sammelstellen sehr unterschiedlich funktioniert, ist die Kenntnis ihrer Erschließungskriterien für ein erfolgreiches Retrieval unverzichtbar
