Grundlagen der Wahrnehmungs- und Lernpsychologie, der Ergonomie, der Kommunikationstheorie, der Imagery-Forschung und der Ästhethik werden dabei ebenso berücksichtigt wie Fragen der Gestaltung von Navigations- und Orientierungselementen.
