    Abstract
    Die schnellen Innovationszyklen bei den elektronischen Medien stellen die Informationskompetenz der Studierenden immer wieder neu auf den Prüfstand. Sechs Jahre nach der SteFI-Studie untersucht eine landesweite Studie der AG Informationskompetenz im Bibliotheksverbund Bayern die Nutzung des lnformations- und Schulungsangebots an den bayerischen Hochschulen. Die Ergebnisse der Studie beruhen auf einer Online-Umfrage, an der sich im Wintersemester 2006/07 mehr als 13.000 Studierende an neun Universitäten und fünf Fachhochschulen beteiligt haben. Defizite sind sowohl im Bereich der Kenntnis fachspezifischer Medien als auch bei den Recherchetechniken vorhanden. Dieser Beitrag stellt die aktuellen Angebote der Bibliotheken den Fähigkeiten, Anforderungen und Wünschen der Studierenden gegenüber. Er dient als Grundlage für die Entwicklung grundlegender Strategien zur Vermittlung von Informationskompetenz an Hochschulen.

    Abstract
    700000 Studierende aus knapp 2000 Hochschulen in Deutschland zählte die 2005 gegründete Internetplattform StudiVZ im Oktober 2006, eine Nachnutzung des amerikanischen Facebook. StudiVZ lebt von der Vernetzung, man verlinkt auf der eigenen Homepage alle Freunde mit ebenfalls eigenem Auftritt in StudiVZ. Wer eine Reise ins Ausland plant, ermittelt in der Gemeinde die zu besuchenden In-Kneipen, sucht Mitfahrgelegenheiten, tauscht sich über den Impact-Faktor eigener Hochschulprofessoren aus. Zu unterschiedlichsten Themen gibt es derzeit 50.000 Foren. Die "Bibliothekare 2.0" waren bereits aktiv, zur Themengruppe "Bibliothek" gibt es im StudiVZ allein 15 Chatgruppen mit animierenden Titeln wie "Zweitwohnsitz Uni-Bibliothek", 52 Mitglieder, "Bibliotheksconnection Jena", 7 Mitglieder sowie die bibliothekarische Unterwelt: "Manager der leisesten Clubs der Welt: die Bibliothekare, 214 Mitglieder."

    Abstract
    Das organisationsinterne Wissen von Bibliotheken hat sich in den letzten dreißig Jahren rapide gewandelt und ausdifferenziert. Die Organisation des internen Wissens einer Bibliothek bedarf daher eines zeitgemäßen Instruments, um dieses Wissen, zu sammeln, aktuell zu halten und an die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter zu verteilen. Die UB Stuttgart hat als geeignetes Instrument für diese Aufgabe seit Beginn des Jahres 2006 ein Wiki im Einsatz. Im Wiki sollen alle für den Betrieb der Bibliothek benötigten Informationen vorgehalten und das gesamte organisationsinterne Wissen gespeichert werden. Daneben werden in diesem Aufsatz weitere Einsatzmöglichkeiten eines Wikis in einer Bibliothek kurz vorgestellt und abschließend einige Hinweise zum Betrieb eines Wikis mit einem externen Dienstleister gegeben.
