    Abstract
In most search systems, mapping queries with documents employs techniques such as vector space model, naïve Bayes, Bayesian theorem etc. to classify resulting documents. In this research studies, we are proposing the use of the concept of basic categories to representing the user's level of knowledge based on the concepts he employed during his search activities, so that the system could propose adapted results based on the observed user's level of knowledge. Our hypothesis is that this approach will enhance the decision support system for solving decisional problems in which information retrieval constitutes the backbone technical problem.

    Abstract
Interorganizational knowledge creation has become a crucial factor for successful management of corporations in the environment surrounding them today. Collaboration with other organizations is indispensable for a corporation to resolve complex and Jong range issues such as customer satisfaction and sustainable development. One of the most fundamental obstacles in creating knowledge among organizations is partial or incomplete communication due to incommensurable point of view. Policy exercises can improve commensurability and facilitate inter-organizational knowledge creation by providing a shared model of the system under investigation. This paper will discuss it taking Intelligent Transportation System (TTS) Deployment Exercises as an example.

    Abstract
Three different interfaces for online public access catalogues were evaluated using transaction logging as a methodology. In two cases exercises were set and run against each interface so that results could be critically evaluated to indicate areas of weakness. In all cases a random transaction log was derived and this was used to diagnose system problems and identify patterns of behaviour. Results showed that searches were often difficult to categorise, users employing different approaches to the same end. Users also were prepared to undertake sustained searching until something was retrieved; however they then frequently stopped. Search input problems are also identified and possible areas for further research suggested

    Abstract
Languages of Central Asia present unique problems in cataloging. Reference works are often scarce, unobtainable, or nonexistent, &pecially for Tibetan and Mongolian materials. Single-cutter numbers for languages result in shelflisting problems in some Central Asian languages. LC subject headings for Central Asian materials are generally adequate except for Tibetan. The breakup of the Soviet Union may result in literatures of the former republics, etc., adopting new scripts. Included is an appendix of some sources for literary works and authors in Central Asian languages.
