    Abstract
    Es wurde untersucht, wie sich die unterschiedliche Größe (41 und 20 Teilnehmer) von virtuellen Diskussionsgrupen auf das Nachrichtenaufkommen, auf die Interaktivität der Diskussion, auf die wahrgenommene Kohärenz der Nachrichten und auf die Informationsorganisationsstrategien der Teilnehmer auswirkt. In der größeren Gruppe wurden im Verlauf einer Woche 60 Beiträge erzeugt, in der kleineren 16. Die Diskussion in der größeren Gruppe war interaktiver, gemessen an der gegenseitigen Bezugnahme in den Nachrichten. Dafür erlebten die Teilnehmer der größeren Gruppe das Informationsangebot als weniger kohärent. Dies weist darauf hin, daß Interaktivität und Kohärenz in virtuellen Seminaren in Konflikt miteinander geraten können. Der Befund, daß - entgegen der Erwartung - die größere und weniger kohärente Informationsmenge in der größeren Gruppe nicht zum verstärkten Einsatz kompensierender Informationsorganisationsstrategien geführt hat, legt nahe, zukünftig verstärkt subjektive Nutzen-Kosten-Überlegungen als Ursache für die Anwendung individueller Informationsorganisationsstrategien beim Tele-Lernen zu berücksichtigen
