    Abstract
    In der Psychologie bündeln das Sondersammelgebiet Psychologie der Saarländischen Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek (SULB) und das Zentrum für Psychologische Information und Dokumentation (ZPID) in einem von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) geförderten Projekt ihre Aktivitäten im Bereich der digitalen Psychologieinformation. Die zentralen Ziele des DFG-Projekts "Digitale Psychologie-Information" sind: - die Entwicklung und Propagierung eines Metadatenstandards für das Fach Psychologie, - die Anpassung des Spiders, Indexers und der Retrievalkomponenten der psychologiespezifischen Suchmaschine PsychSpider an diesen Metadatenstandard, - die Einrichtung eines Volltextservers für elektronische Dokumente aus der Psychologie, PsyDok, - die Integration der Linksammlung PsychLinker (ZPID) und des Fachinformationsführers Psychologie FIPS (SULB), - die Beteiligung der Fachcommunity an der Erschließung hochwertiger Internetressourcen.

    Abstract
    Eine der wesentlichen Aufgaben als Fachreferent*in ist die inhaltliche Erschließung der neuerworbenen Literatur, sowie die Begutachtung und Auswahl der neu erschienenen Werke in den jeweiligen Fachgebieten hinsichtlich der Relevanz für die eigenen Sammlungen gemäß dem Sammlungsprofil der TU Wien Bibliothek. Im Zuge der Corona-Krise wurde die herkömmliche Arbeitsweise in der Sacherschließung beeinträchtigt, und es haben sich neue Herausforderungen, aber auch Möglichkeiten ergeben. Neben der fehlenden Autopsie der Literatur leidet auch die Sichtung und Erwerbung neuer Literatur unter der physischen Abwesenheit vom Arbeitsplatz bzw. der entsprechenden technischen Infrastruktur. Auch der persönliche Austausch mit den Kolleg*innen wurde deutlich erschwert. Neben den Schwierigkeiten wurden aber auch die neuen Handlungsoptionen auf beruflicher und individueller Ebene positiv gesehen. In dem Artikel werden unsere individuellen Erfahrungen an der TU Wien Bibliothek sowie Ausblicke in die Zukunft wiedergegeben.

    Abstract
    Mit der sogenannten kognitiven Wende in der Psychologie in den 1970er Jahren wurde das behavioristische Modell der Psychologie durch das kognitive Modell abgelöst. Während der Behaviorismus davon ausging, dass Verhalten vollständig durch Umweltbedingungen bestimmt ist, und als methodisches Prinzip formulierte, dass nur das unmittelbar beobachtbare Verhalten Gegenstand der Psychologie sein dürfe, sind nach dem kognitiven Modell Kognitionen der Hauptgegenstand der Psychologie (Lit. 01). Unter Kognitionen werden alle Prozesse des Wahrnehmens, Urteilens, Erinnerns, Problemlösens und Entscheidens und die Strukturen des Gedächtnisses, z. B. Begriffe und Einstellungen, verstanden. Im kognitiven Modell wird menschliches Handeln nicht als direkte Reaktion auf den Input von Informationen aus der Umwelt angesehen. Zwischengeschaltet ist der aktive Prozess der Kognition bzw. Informationsverarbeitung, bei dem die Person die Umwelt aktiv nach jenen Informationen absucht, die sie beispielweise für eine Entscheidung braucht.

    Abstract
    Als Erfinder des «Allgemeinen» gilt, gemäß dem Bericht des Aristoteles und seit diesem Bericht, Sokrates. Er ist es, der nicht mehr danach suchte, woraus ein Ding zu dem geworden ist, was es ist, oder wie es entstanden ist, sondern danach, «was [ein Ding] ist», und somit ist Sokrates der erste gewesen, der die Herausarbeitung des Allgemeinen (?a?????) forderte und mit seinen Fragen seine Gesprächspartner zu dieser Herausarbeitung trieb bzw. lockte; die Definition (???sµ??) war das Ziel des sokratischen Gesprächs, und die sokratische Aporie war das Vehikel.

    Abstract
    1998 regte die Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft (DFG) im zweiten Teil des Memorandums zur "Weiterentwicklung der überregionalen Literaturversorgung" die Bildung Virtueller Fachbibliotheken an. So entstand für die Sondersammelgebietsbibliotheken "die Verpflichtung, zusätzlich zu den umfassend erworbenen Medien, wie Büchern und Mikroformen, auch (...) elektronische Informationen zu erschließen und den Benutzern in geeigneter Form zur Verfügung zu stellen." Da die Saarländische Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek (SULB) seit 1966 das Sondersammelgebiet (SSG) Psychologie betreut, ergab sich für sie die Chance, im Rahmen des Förderkonzeptes der DFG die Virtuelle Fachbibliothek Psychologie einzurichten. Die DFG fördert eine Reihe Virtueller Fachbibliotheken, die unter dem gemeinsamen Dach VIFANET zusammengeschlossen sind. Die klassischen Aufgaben des SSG, Sammlung und Erschließung wissenschaftlicher Literatur, wurden ergänzt durch die Einbeziehung von elektronischen Dokumenten. Dieses Vorhaben wurde am SSG Psychologie zum 1. Oktober 1998 in Angriff genommen. Am 31. August 2002 endete die Förderung des Projektes durch die DFG: Grund genug, im Rahmen der Artikelreihe des BIBLIOTHEKSDIENST über die Virtuellen Fachbibliotheken Bilanz zu ziehen. Dabei werden zunächst die Zielsetzungen des Projektes rekapituliert und seine Entwicklung skizziert. Vor allem sollen einzelne Arbeitsschritte und Methoden transparent gemacht werden, mit denen die Angebote der Virtuellen Fachbibliothek Psychologie entwickelt wurden. Nach einem Fazit wird schließlich ein Ausblick auf mögliche und nötige Weiterentwicklungen gegeben.
