    Abstract
    Thema der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Einführung der Regensburger Verbundklassifikation als Aufstellungsklassifikation in der Bibliothek Orientwissenschaften der Universitätsbibliothek Leipzig. Aufgrund der komplexen Ausgangslage konzipiert die Verfasserin die Einführung der RVK als Projekt unter Anwendung des Verfahrens des Projektmanagements. Projektmanagement wird dabei aus rein betriebswirtschaftlicher Sicht, aber auch als Kern organisationaler Veränderungsprozesse innerhalb der Organisationsentwicklung betrachtet. Organisationsentwicklung schließt ein, was die Diskussion um Produktivität und Effizienz von Bibliotheken oft nicht ausreichend berücksichtigt: den humanen Faktor. Neben den harten Fakten berücksichtigt der vorgelegte Projektplan somit ausdrücklich situative und psychosoziale Prozesse als maßgebliche weiche Dimension des Projektmanagement.

    Abstract
    Die Arbeit mit einer Verbundklassifikation ist im deutschen Bibliothekswesen - trotz inzwischen langjähriger Erfahrung - noch eher ungewohnt. Dabei meint man mit einer Verbundklassifikation eine von verschiedenen Institutionen angewandte und optimierte bibliothekarische Klassifikation. Dafür sind zwei Anforderungen an die Verbundpartner grundsätzlich wichtig: Bereitschaft zur Übernahme ohne allzu große Änderungen und Bereitschaft zum Kompromiß. Zum Entstehen einer Verbundklassifikation sind nötig: Inhaltliche und formale Voraussetzungen; geeignetes Umfeld; Bereitstellung von Hilfsmitteln. Diese Überlegungen werden anhand der Regensburger Verbundklassifikation als der größten deutschen Verbundklassifikation exemplarisch gezeigt. Dazu wird auf einige Ergebnisse inhaltlicher Arbeit hingewiesen. Die Verbundklassifikation stellt somit zweifellos eine echte und - in der Regensburger Verbundklassifikation bereits seit 25 Jahren bestehende - progressive Entwicklung dar.     Abstract
    Unter den derzeit 120 Bibliotheken, die dem Regensburger Klassifikationsverbund angehören, stellen die Fachhochschulbibliotheken mit derzeit 32 eine wachsende Gruppe dar. Naturgemäß ist die Verbreitung der RVK an Fachhochschulbibliotheken in Bayern am größten (13 von 15), außerhalb Bayerns wenden besonders Fachhochschulbibliotheken in den neuen Bundesländern RVK an. Bei den Fachhochschulen handelt es sich um Neugründungen von Hochschulen seit den 70er Jahren. Häufig wurden bereits bestehende Bildungseinrichtungen wie polytechnische oder Ingenieurschulen, höhere Wirtschaftsschulen, soziale Schulen, Grafikerschulen, Bibliotheksschulen in diese Neugründungen integriert. Entsprechend bauen auch viele Fachhochschulbibliotheken auf Vorläufereinrichtungen auf, verfügen dennoch nur in geringem Maße über Altbestände. Die vordringliche Aufgabe nach Gründung der Fachhochschulbibliotheken lag in der Anhebung der professoralen Büchersammlungen auf ein wissenschaftliches Niveau. Gleichzeitig sollte der Bestand erschlossen und frei zugänglich aufgestellt werden. Dem wissenschaftlichen Anspruch der Hochschulen trug die Ausstattung der Bibliotheken mit Fachpersonal Rechnung, allerdings in einem Maße, das nicht mit dem an Universitätsbibliotheken gleich zu setzen ist. Das wenige Personal muss sich, was die Erschließung des Bestandes angeht, mit einem sehr weit gefassten Fächerspektrum auseinandersetzen - ein Betätigungsfeld auf dem sich Diplombibliothekarinnen und - bibliothekare, mitunter auch Angehörige des mittleren Dienstes seit Jahren aufs Beste bewähren. Fachhochschulbibliotheken haben in der Regel keinen Archivauftrag (höchstens bezogen auf die Hochschule) und verstehen sich als Gebrauchsbibliotheken - dennoch keine öffentlichen, der Allgemeinbildung ihrer Nutzerschaft verpflichtete, sondern wissenschaftliche Bibliotheken aufgrund der Nutzerstruktur - aber auch keine Spezialbibliotheken, vielmehr je nach Umfang der an der jeweiligen Fachhochschule gelehrten Fächer mehr oder weniger universell

    Abstract
    Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war die Erstellung einer Konkordanz zwischen der Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK) und der Basisklassifikation (BK) für den Fachbereich Recht. Die Erstellung von Konkordanzen ist im bibliothekarischen Bereichmehrfach von Interesse, da einerseits Notationen verschiedener Klassifikationssysteme zusammengeführt werden und somit eine höhere Datendichte erreicht werden kann. Zum anderen können Konkordanzen in der Suchmaschinentechnologie Primo als "Werkzeug" bei der facettierten Suche eingesetzt werden. Die Arbeit gliedert sich in zwei Teile. Der erste (theoretische) Teil beschäftigt sich mit Klassifikationen als Hilfsmittel für die Freihandaufstellung und als Teil der klassifikatorischen Sacherschließung. Im Anschluss daran werden drei große Klassifikationssysteme, die im Rahmen der Sacherschließung in Österreich eine wesentliche Rolle spielen (Verbundklassifikationen des OBV), dargestellt. Die Basisklassifikation und die Regensburger Verbundklassifikation werden kurz beschrieben, es wird untersucht wie juristische Medien in diesen Klassifikationen abgebildet werden. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auch der aktuelle Stand der RVK Erweiterung betreffend österreichisches Recht erörtert. Die Dewey - Dezimal - Klassifikation (DDC) wird auf ihre generelle Eignung als Klassifikation für juristische Medien genauer, anhand mehrerer praktischer Beispiele, untersucht. Insbesondere wird die "Konkordanzfähigkeit" der DDC im Hinblick auf die beiden anderen Systeme betreffend den Fachbereich Recht ermittelt. Ein kurzer Ausblick auf Unterschiede zwischen der angloamerikanischen Rechtsordnung und dem europäischen Civil Law ergänzt die Ausführungen zur DDC. Der zweite (praktische) Teil beinhaltet die Konkordanztabelle in Form einer Microsoft Excel Tabelle mit einem ausführlichen Kommentar. Diese Tabelle liegt auch in einer verkürzten Form vor, die für die praktische Umsetzung in der Verbunddatenbank vorgesehen ist.

    Abstract
    Im Jahre 2008 wurde an der Bibliothek der Fachhochschulstudiengänge Burgenland in Eisenstadt mit der Umstellung auf die Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK) als Aufstellungssystematik begonnen. Sie konnte im Sommer 2011 erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden. Im Beitrag werden die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte sowie die aufgetauchten Probleme und deren Lösung kurz dargestellt.

    Es wird ein Überblick über die in deutschen wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken verwendeten Ausstellungssystematiken gegeben: Die Fachsystematiken der Universitätsbibliothek Bielefeld - Die Fachsystematiken der Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Bremen - Die Aufstellungssystematik der Gesamthochschulbibliotheken des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen - Die Aufstellungssystematiken der Universitätsbibliothek Konstanz - Die Aufstellungssystematiken der Universitätsbibliothek Regensburg - Die Aufstellungssystematiken der Universitätsbibliothek Trier. Als Vorbild für die Regensburger Systematik wird zusätzlich die Klassifikation der Library of Congress berücksichtigt. Die heutige Anwendung systematischer Aufstellung im deutschen Bereich ist die Umkehrung eines historischen Prozesses, der sich auf G. Leyh zurückführen läßt.     Abstract
    Klassifikationen sind in Bibliotheken heute wichtiger als je zuvor. Sie eignen sich nicht nur hervorragend für die physische Anordnung von Büchern und anderen Medienwerken, sondern sind genauso erfolgreich dafür einsetzbar, große Datenmengen in Katalogen und anderen Nachweisinstrumenten zu strukturieren und sinnvoll nutzbar zu machen. Der Band gibt zunächst eine Einführung in die bibliothekarische Klassifikationstheorie und stellt dann die in Bibliotheken des deutschen Sprachraums überregional eingesetzten Universalklassifikationen vor. Er informiert außerdem über die Nutzung von Klassifikationen in Katalogen und Suchsystemen sowie die Frage der semantischen Interoperabilitätim Kontext der Wissensorganisation. Ziel des Bandes ist es, eine Übersicht über die gegenwärtig in Bibliotheken des deutschen Sprachraums überregional eingesetzten Universalklassifikationen zu geben. Die Fülle an vorhandenen Klassifikationen bedingt die thematische Konzentration auf Universalklassifikationen; reine Fachklassifikationen sind nicht Gegenstand der Darstellung, finden jedoch in einzelnen Beiträgen Erwähnung.

    Abstract
    Die Querschnittlichkeit von regionalwissenschaftlicher Forschung verschiedenster Ausprägung stellt hierarchische Klassifikationssysteme vor besondere Herausforderungen. Zu ihnen gehören die disziplinäre Fragmentierung von Beständen, Doppelstellenproblematiken, zu große oder zu geringe Granularität oder schlicht ein begrifflich zu westlich geprägter Blick. Hinzu treten neuere Forschungskonjunkturen, welche transregionale Vernetztheit betonen oder ganz unterschiedlich dimensionierte Räumliche Einheiten jenseits des Nationalstaats zum Ausgangspunkt haben, nicht zuletzt aber auch Anforderungen virtueller interdisziplinärer Zentren. Neben einem Ausblick auf die Vorgehensweise anderer Klassifikationssysteme und auf die Praxis ausgewählter Leuchtturminstitutionen gilt der Blick der Regensburger Verbundklassifikation. Es werden eine Reihe von Lösungsansätzen vorgestellt und miteinander verglichen: Wo die eine Bibliothek auf Veränderungen der RVK setzt, praktiziert die andere Hauslösungen, wieder anderswo gibt es offizielle "Sonderwege", es werden Bestände mittels Lokalkennzeichen separiert - oder sich der RVK konsequent angepasst. Der Beitrag strebt einen Überblick über die beteiligte Faktorenvielfalt eines komplexen Tätigkeitsfeldes an.
