Abstract

Daß visuelle Information ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres Lebens ist, wird von der Fachinformation bislang außer Acht gelassen. Fachinformationsdienste sind vorwiegend linear und enumerativ ausgerichtet und beschränken sich im wesentlichen auf empirisch-analytische Wissensräume. Im Museums- und Ausstellungsbereich schälen sich Konzeptionen ästhetisch geleiteter Informationsvermittlung heraus, die - zumindest indirekt - für die gestaltung von Fachinformationsdiensten von Interesse sein könnten und sollten
