Abstract

In diesem Beitrag wird der Versuch unternommen, Wirtschaftlichkeitsanalysen innerbetrieblicher Informationsvermittlungsstellen (IVS) auf ihren Sinn hin zu hinterfragen. Hierzu wird zunächst dargestellt, welche Nutzeffekte Wirtschaftlichkeitsanalysen aufweisen könnten, wenn diese systematisch im Rahmen eines Informationsmanagemenprozesses eingesetzt würden. Im Anschluß daran konzentrieren sich die Ausführungen darauf, wie Kunden und Management die innerbetriebliche Informationsvermittlungsstelle betrachten. Hierbei wird deren spezifisches Interesse an der Ermittlung der Wirtschaftlichkeit von Informationsdiensten sowie die damit verbundenen Anforderungen an die IVS aufgezeigt. Die aus diesen Anforderungen abgeleitete Zielsetzung hinsichtlich der Wirtschaftlichkeitsermittlung ist für die Auswahl und Anpassung der Analyseinstrumente Grundvoraussetzung
