Abstract
Describes the JASON NRW express document delivery service developed by university libraries in NRW. Based on local data of the German periodicals database (Zeitschriftendatenbank), library users can retrieve periodicals information and place an order directly using electronic mail. The delivery library, which receives an order, guarantees to deliver the requested item with a fixed time. There are both classical and electronic distribution methods available
