Abstract

The OhioLINK network links 17 4-year academic institutions, the state library, and a number of community and technical colleges in Ohio, USA. Seamless access to materials is provided. All holdings are loaded into a central system housed at Wright State University in Dayton, and each institution has its own local database. Services include siingle point of access to multiple library catalogues, interlibrary lending from individual libraries and 4 depository libraries, and access to a number of reference databases. Trials of CD-ROM based delivery of full text periodical articles and cooperative collection development are underway. Outline future development plans
