Abstract

The Albert R. Mann Library has created a working electronic library and has made significant changes in services and staff responsibilities to address users' evolving needs. Reviews these changes, discusses the development of electronic libraries at the Albert R. Mann Library and describes the increased usage that the library's collections have received as the electronic library has been developed. Specific developemnts described include: locally mounted databases; Internet access to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) data bank of agricultural numeric data; and geographic information systems
